Two Thai Teams and One Indonesian Team Advance from PUBG SEA Championship to the MET Asia Series

With the conclusion of the PUBG Southeast Asia Championship 2019 last June 30, two Thai teams and one Indonesian team have won the top three spots at the tournament as well as their qualifying slots to the MET Asia Series.

In first place from the PUBG Southeast Asia Championship was Thai team Armory Gaming (AG), one of Thailand's most prominent PUBG professional teams. With 3/4 of the previous Team Demonic roster in Thanakorn "General_Gaming" Pechthong, Supakorn "DMG" Korsermsuk, and Thanawat Jantem, as well as Katanyu "DUCKMANZ" Chinsorranan, the team has been a staple of Thailand's PUBG scene since early 2018.

Meanwhile, Indonesia's Rex Regum Qeon and Thailand's Tokio Striker teams make up the 2nd and 3rd place winners respectively. By finishing top 3 in the PUBG Southeast Asia Championship, all three teams have earned a slot to the MET Asia Series.

The MET Asia Series: PUBG Classic, organized by MET Events, is an Asian leg and the last premier tournament of the PUBG Classics 2019 circuit for PUBG. Teams from various qualifier tournaments all over Asia have earned slots to compete in this $300,000 USD tournament, which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand's BITEC Bangna from July 26 to 28, 2019.
